Deputy Sheriff

Butler County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for full-time and part-time deputy positions. Applicants must be a US Citizen, be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, be of good moral character, have a valid driver's license, and be in good physical condition. Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Nebraska certification is preferred but not required. All applicants must pass a background check prior to an offer of employment. The Butler County Sheriff's Office is subject to Veterans Preference. Individuals claiming Veterans Preference must include a copy of DD214 with their application. Pay range: $27.31 - $35.64 per hour. Plus Pay Step Plan
